Attorney Lauriann Wright has been skillfully representing clients in Los Angeles, Glendale, Pasadena and other parts of Southern California for more than 25 years. As a partner at Wright Kim Douglas, ALC, she focuses her practice on probate litigation and estate planning, accepting clients who are dealing with issues concerning trusts, guardianships, conservatorships, and estates.ÿ She has a particular focus on the representation of professional fiduciaries.
Ms. Wright earned her law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. During her time at Hastings, she spent one semester studying international law at Leiden University's Leiden Law School in the Netherlands. She graduated in 1994 and was admitted to practice in California later that year. Today, Ms. Wright is admitted to practice law in front of all state, federal and appellate courts in California.
Over the course of her career, Ms. Wright has had the opportunity to handle business and probate matters in all phases of litigation. She has handled jury trials and bench trials in both state and federal courts. She has also successfully argued cases in appeals courts, including one case that helped to change California's laws on real estate appraiser liability.
As a dedicated practitioner in the areas of probate, estate planning and business law, Ms. Wright has made a point of continually seeking out opportunities to expand her knowledge in these areas of the law. She is active in several professional organizations, including the Pasadena Bar Association, the State Bar of California Trusts and Estates Section, the San Gabriel Valley Estate Planning Council, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. ÿShe currently serves as Group Leader of the Pasadena Estate & Succession Planning Affinity Group for Provisors. ÿShe also serves as a Board Member of the San Gabriel Valley Estate Planning Council. She regularly speaks at bar and professional fiduciary events on current probate topics.
