Edward M. Cassella is an attorney at Cloutier & Cassella in Old Saybrook, Connecticut. Outside of his law practice, Mr. Cassella is an active participant in his legal and professional communities. He is a member of the Middlesex County Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association. He is counsel for the Town of Old Lyme Planning Commission and sits on the Town of Old Saybrook Ethics Commission. He is a former board member of various local organizations and is involved in youth sports.
Mr. Cassella graduated cum laude from Providence College with a bachelor?s degree before going on to graduate magna cum laude from Suffolk University Law School. During law school, he served on the Journal of Trial & Appellate Advocacy, was a member of the Moot Court Honor Board and was president of the Employment and Labor Law Society.
Following law school, Mr. Cassella passed the Connecticut bar examination and received his license to practice law before all Connecticut state courts. He is also qualified to appear before the state courts of Massachusetts.
