Matthew Hinson is the managing partner of The Hinson Law Firm, P.A., in Jacksonville, Florida. Mr. Hinson practices estate planning and landlord-tenant law, serving clients in Jacksonville, Amelia Island, Jacksonville Beach, Orange Park, Ponte Vedra Beach, St. Augustine and St. Johns, Florida.ÿ
Mr. Hinson handles estate planning matters involving contested wills, guardianship, medical power of attorney, probate, trusts and wills. He also has experience litigating landlord-tenant disputes. He provides personal and compassionate legal service to his clients, guiding them through the complexities of the legal process to the best resolution of their situation.ÿ
Active in his legal community, Mr. Hinson is a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association and prior co-chair of the association?s Solo Practitioner and Small Firm Committee. He sits on the Board of Directors of the Jacksonville Justice Association, and is a former associate member and pupil member of the Chester Bedell American Inn of Court.ÿ
Additionally, Mr. Hinson is a former attorney adviser for the mock trial team at The Bolles School and presenter at continuing legal education conferences. In addition to his roles within the legal community, he serves his local community through involvement with high school sports and serving as an assistant track and field coach at The Bolles School.
In 2003, Mr. Hinson received a bachelor?s degree in political science from Davidson College. He went on to graduate cum laude from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2011. He holds licenses to practice law before all Florida state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
