Attorney Terrence T. Dariotis is the founder of Dariotis Law in Tallahassee, Florida. He has been board certified by The Florida Bar as a Specialist in Wills, Trusts and Estates Law since 2001, and has more than 48 years of legal experience. Mr. Dariotis serves a diverse range of clients throughout the greater Tallahassee metropolitan area and in other areas of the state who have legal needs involving estate planning, wills, trusts, powers of attorney, probate, estate and trust administration, and other related matters.
Along with assisting clients concerning estate planning and with estate and trust administration, Mr. Dariotis also assists business owners and entrepreneurs with establishing, organizing, and planning business entities, including preparing buy-sell agreements. Recognized for his professionalism and service, he has received numerous awards and honors throughout his career, including a listing in Who's Who in American Law from 1987 to 2017. He also holds an AV Preeminent peer review rating* from Martindale-Hubbell.ÿ
A highly versatile attorney, Mr. Dariotis has an extensive and varied academic background. He studied pre-medicine at Northwestern University in Illinois, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Saint Joseph's College, Indiana, in 1969. In 1973, he obtained his Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. He also received a Certificate in Financial Planning from Florida State University in 1997, and his Masters of Law (LL.M.) in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2003.
Widely regarded as a leader in his field, Mr. Dariotis served as an adjunct professor at Florida State University's College of Business from 1987 to 1993. Highly active in his legal community, he has served as president of the Tallahassee Regional Estate Planning Council, and was appointed to serve on the Florida Probate Rules Committee of The Florida Bar from 2014 to 2019.
He is also a founding board member of the Community Foundation of North Florida, and serves as a panel member for the Legal Services of North Florida.
