Attorney Carl S. Goode is the founder and owner of Goode Tax and Estate Planning Law Group, LLC, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Certified as an estate planning and administration specialist and as a tax law specialist by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization and possessing more than 45 years of legal experience, Mr. Goode serves the needs and interests of a diverse range of clients throughout the greater Baton Rouge metro region and surrounding areas who have legal issues involving any of the following:
A graduate of Louisiana State University, Mr. Goode obtained his Juris Doctor from Paul M. Hebert Law Center Louisiana State University in 1974. He received his license to practice from the Louisiana State Bar Association that same year. He then earned his LLM in Taxation from Washington University School of Law in 1979. Along with practicing before all Louisiana state courts, Mr. Goode is also admitted to practice in Missouri as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri and the U.S. Tax Court.
Throughout his career, Mr. Goode has always strived to provide the highest level of counsel and support possible to those he serves. He has earned a reputation as a highly competent attorney with a vast amount of knowledge and resources that he uses to help his clients efficiently find the quality solutions they seek.

Mr. Goode once served as a captain in the Army JAGC program, and he maintains active involvement in his legal community through his memberships with the Baton Rouge Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Missouri Bar and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
