As the Managing Partner at Frame & Frame, LLC, Tara K. Frame focuses her practice primarily on estate planning, elder law and probate/estate administration. She also has significant experience in personal injury litigation and family law matters. Her firm has office locations in Annapolis, Frederick, Pasadena, and Stevensville, Maryland which allows her to represent clients throughout Maryland. Admitted to practice before all Maryland state courts since 1994, she is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
In her estate planning practice, Ms. Frame assists clients of all ages with the preparation and review of living and revocable trusts, wills, advance medical directives, health care directives, and financial powers of attorney. She tailors each plan and their individual components to the objectives and circumstances of a particular client, including the protection and preservation of assets and the minimization of estate taxes. Ms. Frame has also helped heirs and beneficiaries navigate what can often be a complicated and lengthy probate process.
Ms. Frame also works with elderly clients and their family members in addressing issues of concern to them. She provides advice and counsel on long-term care planning, Medicaid planning, to explain the Medicaid rules and how they can be complied with. When necessary and appropriate, Ms. Frame discusses guardianship proceedings and how they apply to elderly people with mental or physical impairments who can no longer manage their own affairs.
Held in high regard by her colleagues, Ms. Frame has received a 10.0 ?Superb? peer review rating through Avvo and many other honors and awards. In 2019, she was awarded the SBA of Maryland award for Maryland Attorney Advocate of the Year. She is a 1991 recipient of a Bachelor of Arts from Johns Hopkins University and a 1994 cum laude graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law.ÿ She is also a multiple year recipient of the SuperLawyers designation.
