Attorney Suzanne Simpson is the founder of Simpson Law, PA, in Spencerville, Maryland. Ms. Simpson focuses her practice primarily on estate planning and probate law and handles elder law matters. She serves clients throughout Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.
Ms. Simpson has more than 25 years of legal experience. Her practice encompasses all types of estate planning services including rovocable living trusts, special needs trusts, wills, power of attorney for health care and finances, and elder law issues She is committed to providing efficient and inclusive legal services to her clients.
Over the years, Ms. Simpson has served in many leadership roles within the legal community. She is a former co-chair of the estate planning section of the Howard County Bar Association, a past president of the Howard County Women?s Bar Association and served on the board of directors for the Olney Chamber of Commerce.ÿ Currently, Ms. Simpson served on the board for VisArts and on the advisory board for Cornerstone Montgomery.
Ms. Simpson educates others on estate planning needs through lecturing for various groups and organizations. She continues to be an active member of the Howard County Estate Planning Council, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and the estate planning sections of the Maryland Bar Association and Virginia Bar Association. She volunteers her time drafting living wills for senior citizens on Law Day.
Ms. Simpson earned bachelor?s degrees in English and German from George Mason University. She received her law degree from George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School. She clerked for the Chief Judges of both Loudon and Fairfax County. She holds a law license in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia and is qualified to appear before the Supreme Court of the United States.
