He then returned to his alma mater and obtained his Juris Doctor from St. John's University School of Law in 2016. While there, he was executive director of the Frank S. Polestino Trial Advocacy Institute, and he placed as finalist in several mock trial and advocacy competitions, including the American Bar Association National Criminal Justice Trial Competition.
