Jaclyn T. Kramer is an associate attorney at Futterman, Lanza & Pasculli, LLP. With offices in Smithtown, Bay Shore and Garden City and a client base that covers Nassau and Suffolk counties, she focuses her practice on estate planning and elder law. In that regard, Ms. Kramer regularly prepares and reviews last wills and testaments, financial and health care powers of attorney, advance health care directives, supplemental and special needs trusts, and other similar documents. She also has extensive experience with asset protection trusts and other forms of Medicaid planning, and she has prepared many petitions for guardianships. In addition, Ms. Kramer's background includes probate and estate administration.
As an undergraduate, Ms. Kramer attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where she was a member of the school's women's gymnastics team and was an assistant coach at its women's gymnastics camp before receiving a Bachelor of Arts in political science magna cum laude in 2010. She then pursued her legal education at the University of Minnesota Law School in Minneapolis. While she was there, Ms. Kramer participated in the school's Civil Rights/Civil Liberties Moot Court, was a student director at one of the school's many clinics, and was a summer associate at Futterman & Lanza, LLP.
After being awarded her Juris Doctor summa cum laude in 2013, Ms. Kramer sat for the New York State bar examination, and upon passing it, she became admitted to practice before all New York state courts. Highly regarded by her fellow attorneys for her successful track record and superior ethics, she has received a "Very Good" peer review rating through Avvo. Ms. Kramer was named to the Top 50 Women in Business list that is issued annually by Long Island Business News. Additionally, Ms. Kramer is a Rising Star and the other attorneys at Futterman, Lanza & Pasculli, LLP are Super Lawyers.
