A dean?s list graduate of Villanova University, Ms. Blackwell majored in public relations and psychology and earned her Bachelor of Arts in 2015. She received her Juris Doctor from the Duquesne University School of Law in 2018. While there, she was a member of the Appellate Moot Court Board and the Student Bar Association. She also served as the president of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.

Ms. Blackwell has been very active in both bar and community activities. Early in her career, Ms. Blackwell worked as an editor and contributing writer at Montgomery Community Media. She then interned at American Eagle, where she helped with all its business legal needs including those related to drafting and reviewing contracts, intellectual property issues, commercial and legal risks, licensing agreements and marketing strategies. As a student attorney, she also served the Duquesne University School of Law ? Family Law Clinic.
