Laura F. Bellegie Sharp

Laura F. Bellegie Sharp is half of a husband-and-wife duo in Texas. She has 30 years of experience as a trial attorney and has practiced alongside her husband for 20 years at The Sharp Firm. Her contributions to the practice revolve around serving the best interests of clients in cases related to dental malpractice, medical negligence and serious personal injury cases.

When it comes to investing in herself and her knowledge, Mrs. Sharp leaves no stone unturned. She has a B.A. from The University of Texas and a J.D. from Baylor Law School. She then pursued a teaching certification in 1983. Since then, her education has continued through gaining firsthand experience in courts across Texas.

Mrs. Sharp is licensed to practice in the state of Texas, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Western and Southern Districts of Texas. She even has experience working in the D.C. court system. However, she is no longer licensed to practice there.

Like her husband, Mrs. Sharp gives back to the legal community by serving in professional organizations. She has held a wide range of positions at the Austin Bar Association, the Austin Bar Foundation and the Austin Bar Association Civil Litigation Section ? just to name a few. She is also a national member of the American Bar Foundation.
