Gabriela M. Barake worked in employment law for several years, initially gaining experience as a legal analyst. Ms. Barake has represented clients with consulting and litigation matters covering various employment laws, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VII); the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA); the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 (ADEA); and the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 (FLSA). Ms. Barake?s experience includes the representation of individuals and companies before administrative agencies, state and federal courts. She has both prosecuted and defended claims across various areas of law.
Today, Ms. Barake assists clients in the areas of fiduciary litigation, probate, trust, and guardianship litigation, and commercial and business litigation. Her clients are trustees, administrators, guardians, and executors. Ms. Barake's practice includes working on matters which relate to probate and trust administration, accounting and administration issues, as well as prosecution and defense of fiduciary claims. She is committed to ensuring that individuals suffering from dementia, mental illness, physical and mental limitations, and other disabilities have guardians who protect them physically, financially and emotionally
Ms. Barake is fluent in Spanish and can assist clients who prefer to communicate in Spanish.
