Lisa enjoys helping client families navigate through complex legal and financial processes. Her ability to read a situation and help families reach a consensus is key to her success as an elder law attorney. She finds satisfaction in providing sound resolutions to the many details that can be involved in providing a quality life care plan for aging adults and their loved ones. She takes great pride in helping families outline their legacy, while ensuring that funds remain available for a high quality of life.
Lisa is a member of the Probate Section and the Elder Law Committee of the Houston Bar Association.
Prior to joining Weiner & McCulloch, Lisa worked as a general civil practice attorney specializing in transactional law, probate, and estate planning. She has had a long-term interest in Elder Law, because she loves helping people navigate complex processes during emotional times.
Lisa is a native Houstonian and seventh generation Texan. She has a BA in English from Trinity University and worked for fourteen years as a technical writer. She attended William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota but was happy to return to Houston in 2005. Lisa is admitted to the bar in Minnesota and Texas. Lisa is an avid reader and lifelong learner. She and her husband enjoy hiking, movies, and spending time with their family and friends.
