About Kreager Mitchell, PLLC
Amelia grew up outside of St. Louis, Missouri. She went on to attend Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History, with a minor in Public Communications. Following her graduation from Syracuse, she served for a year as an AmeriCorps volunteer with a non-profit organization in Boston, Massachusetts that brought older adults into the Boston Public Schools to tutor primary school children. After her year of service, Amelia attended Quinnipiac University School of Law in Hamden, Connecticut, where she earned her J.D. in 2007. During her time as a law student, Amelia was active in the Quinnipiac University Civil Clinic, and was awarded a grant through the Quinnipiac Legal Action Fellowship to mentor young inner city girls. After practicing estate planning and elder law for three years in Connecticut, Amelia moved to San Antonio in 2010 with her husband Chris and son. Amelia and Chris have since added two natural born Texans to their family and are very appreciative of the sunny skies and many family friendly activities San Antonio has to offer. When not working or chasing around her children, Amelia enjoys running, cooking and reading.
