Daniel was born and grew up in San Antonio, Tx. After graduating from Antonian College Preparatory High School, he attended the University of Texas at Austin. There, he received his Bachelor of Arts in Government/Political Science, as well double-minoring in Business and Interdisciplinary Studies.
Daniel then went on to receive his Juris Doctor from St. Mary's University School of Law. During his time in law school, Daniel also soent a summer in Europe studying under United States Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts at the Institute on World Legal Problems at the University of Innsbruck in Innsbruck, Austria.
Immediately after receiving his law license and being admitted to the Texas Bar, Daniel became a Criminal Texas State Prosecutor for the Bexar County District Attorney?s Office. Daniel also spent time as the First Chair Prosecutor running the office?s Criminal Protective Orders Unit, where he conducted Protective Order hearings in front of the elected Civil District Court Judges in Bexar County. After leaving the DA?s Office, Daniel then went on to work at a multi-practice area law firm with offices across Texas. There, he handled the law firm?s caseload, representing the various legal needs of the office?s clients.
In his spare time, Daniel enjoys spending time with his wife and son, playing a variety of different musical instruments, collecting vinyl records, reading, long-distance running, and cheering on his Texas Longhorns and San Antonio Spurs.
