P. Todd Sartwell has a varied practice that encompasses several areas of the law. His experience has included personal injury and wrongful death litigation, workers? compensation claims, traffic violations, estate planning, employment law, immigration, real estate, and family law. Mr. Sartwell is a partner at The Dickerson & Smith Law Group, and from the firm?s offices in Virginia Beach, Virginia, he represents clients throughout the Commonwealth. He has been admitted to practice in Virginia since 2005, and he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Mr. Sartwell?s personal injury client base is comprised of people who have been injured in motor vehicle accidents or in other incidents that have been caused by another party?s negligence, and he has successfully obtained compensation for their losses through jury awards as well as settlements that he has negotiated. In his family law practice, he guides people who are going through a divorce and helps them come to a resolution on property division, parenting time, and child and spousal support. Mr. Sartwell also represents clients who have been injured at work and who are seeking their rightful benefits under their employer?s workers? compensation insurance coverage. He is a 2005 graduate of Regent University School of Law.
