Legal advice, with empathy and experience.
I have practiced law in New York since 1991 and in Connecticut since 2004. When I decided to go solo, I built a practice around helping individuals, couples, and families plan for the transfer of property, as well as guiding executors and families through the estate administration process when a loved one has died.
I began my career in corporate law, welcoming the challenge and complexity of working with large international firms. My years of corporate experience at the firms White & Case and Linklaters shaped both the sophistication of my work and my tailored approach to client service.
I started life in Queens, New York, then spent my formative years in Connecticut at The Ethel Walker School. I graduated from Yale University with a BA in Psychology, also earning a certificate in British Studies during my junior year abroad in London. I earned my law degree at Harvard.
In years past I have served on a number of nonprofit boards and as Vice-Chancellor of the Episcopal Diocese of New York and on Committee One of the Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut.
Currently I serve on the Board of Regional Hospice and Home Care of Western Connecticut.
