Attorney Rachel A. Kabb-Effron is the owner of Kabb Law in Beachwood, Ohio. Ms. Kabb-Effron devotes her practice to elder law and probate and serves disabled and elderly individuals throughout Ohio. She handles a variety of elder law matters, including those involving care advocacy, life care planning, Medicaid, public benefits eligibility and veterans? administration matters.
Ms. Kabb-Effron earned a bachelor?s degree from the University of Cincinnati and received her law degree from Cleveland State University Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. A licensed attorney since 1998, she has more than 20 years of experience and is certified in elder law by the National Elder Law Foundation and is designated a specialist by the Ohio State Bar Association Specialty Board.
Ms. Kabb-Effron has received recognition for her achievements, including being named the ?Top Female Entrepreneur in Cleveland? by the National Association of Women Business Owners. She previously received an outstanding achievement award from the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and a pro bono award from the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association?s young lawyers section.
Outside of her practice, Ms. Kabb-Effron regularly lectures for various groups and at continuing legal education seminars. She is also an adjunct faculty member of Cleveland State University Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
Active in her community, Ms. Kabb-Effron sits on the board of Life Care Planning Law Firms Association and is a member of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland?s Jewish community housing committee. She is active with the National Elder Law Foundation.ÿ She has been a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) since 2000.ÿ She is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, Business Network International and Park Synagogue.
